Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Yakup Pekdemir, trading as Pekdemir Labs ("we", "us"), for the LUTLINE app ("the App") and this website. By installing or using the App you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies in addition to these terms; where the two conflict, these terms govern the relationship between you and us.

2. Your content

You own the videos, photos and LUT files you bring into the App and every export the App produces from them. We claim no rights to your content. The App never modifies your original files; exports are written as new files to the destination you choose.

You are responsible for having the rights to the media and LUT files you use, including any third-party .cube files you import.

3. Looks, camera profiles and the LUTLINE brand

The looks bundled with the App, the App's design, the LUTLINE name and mark, and the text and images on this website belong to us or are used under licence. You may use the bundled looks to grade your own videos, including for commercial work, and distribute the resulting exports freely. You may not extract, copy, redistribute or sell the bundled look files, camera-conversion tables or other App resources themselves.

Camera and Log-profile names appear in the App only to identify compatibility. They are trademarks of their owners; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

4. LUTLINE Free and LUTLINE Pro

The App can be used without a purchase ("Free"). LUTLINE Pro unlocks additional features and is offered as:

  • a monthly auto-renewing subscription;
  • a yearly auto-renewing subscription, which may include a free trial for new subscribers;
  • a one-time Lifetime purchase, which grants the Pro features available at the time of purchase plus the Pro look and compatibility updates we announce for it.

Prices are shown in the App in your local currency before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If a free trial is offered, the unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings or from LUTLINE Settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.

Pro access is verified on the device through Apple's StoreKit. A network failure does not revoke a paid entitlement. If the App cannot reach Apple to show plans, your current access is unchanged.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile or extract resources from the App except where the law expressly allows it; not to use the App to infringe anyone's rights; and not to interfere with the App Store's purchase mechanisms.

6. Changes to the App

We may add, change or remove features, looks and camera profiles over time, and may stop distributing the App. Where a change removes something you paid for, we will say so in the release notes and, where reasonable, keep an equivalent available.

7. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Colour rendering depends on your device, its display and the encoding of your source files; we do not guarantee that an export will match another application's rendering of the same LUT.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including consumer rights that apply where you live.

9. Apple

Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live. Disputes are subject to the courts of Türkiye, unless those rules give you the right to bring a claim where you live.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always published at this URL with its effective date. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
